Dear Parents! 

Thank you for sending your child to Celebrate the Savior, a Vacation Bible School that celebrates the redemptive love of the Lord Jesus Christ. This year’s theme is Jesus Gives Us Joy based on Psalm 95:1, “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” Each day begins at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at noon.  This will be a joyous time of celebrating Jesus! 

Bible stories, activities, songs and hymns, crafts, games, and snacks will highlight each day as kids learn about God’s work of grace in us through His Son, Jesus Christ. We will study three different Bible stories, each with a take home point: 

                         M: Matt. 2:1-12                                   Wise Men Worship Jesus                              Jesus came for me.  

                         T: Mark 2:1-12                                     Jesus Heals a Lame Man                              Jesus heals me. 

                         W: Luke 23 & Matt. 28                        Jesus Dies and Rise Again                            Jesus saves me. 


This year, our VBS mission project is “Project Feed 500” sponsored by the Orphan Grain Train (OGT), a Nebraska based organization that helps provide food and other supplies primarily to poorer countries around the world. Project 500 sends Mercy Meals to various orphanages, refugee camps, food panties, and disaster relief centers around the world. Our goal is to raise $150 in order to feed 5,000 children. The Lord Jesus fed 5,000 men plus women and children miraculously (Matthew 14:13-21). Our efforts are one way to share the love of Jesus with people from other countries.    

We will be uploading pictures of the various activities from each day on our congregation’s Facebook page. Please take a few moments each day and enjoy the many events of VBS!
